| Thanksgiving basket by Faith Goble |
What can you do in the Brag Basket?
- introduce yourself
- share some great news from this week
- congratulate a friend
- laugh about something wonderful that you tried that failed
- applaud for each other
Speak up and add yourself or another deserving soul in the comments. We all cheer, and everyone feels great. It lets you meet each other a bit. Reading each others' stories brings us a bit closer to being a community.
How does it work? You write a comment on this post.
This is not an ad. (I delete the ads.) It's a conversation with friends. So jump in. And remember to cheer for each other.

| This photo was tagged "Baskets of Hope," from a Thanksgiving dinner hosted by a local food bank in Indianapolis. I made a small donation to my local food banks this week. I hope you'll share a little of your own hope with others, too. |

I am thankful to live in one of America's wonderful small towns. When I grew up I always wanted to live in a small town and finally found one to raise our children in. Although there are struggles, as most small towns are experiencing, we have many citizens working hard to find solutions. And I believe someday we will see thriving small towns once again.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lila. It is in working together that we find ways to improve.
ReplyDeleteBecky:
ReplyDeleteA person can learn from the BragBasket how to live in his big city and still experience it as a small town - I like that about my visits here - Thank you - Wayne
Wayne, that is maybe the nicest thing you could have said. Thank you, from the heart.
ReplyDeleteCoz Becky told me too.
ReplyDeleteI used to have "waiting for Conde Nast Traveler to call" on my bio page. Now, it says "Contributor to Conde Nast Traveler and Afar."
