By Small Biz Survival

Lean in and listen to this good news in the Brag Basket. This month we’re celebrating all kinds of people, with this photo by Asa Dugger from Pexels.

The Brag Basket is open! This one is for Feb 8-10, 2019. Bring your good news, big or small, to share with everyone.

What can you share in the Brag Basket?

  • introduce yourself
  • share some great news from this week
  • celebrate progress, even baby steps
  • congratulate a friend
  • applaud for each other
  • confess your undying love for rural places

Don’t like to brag? Just share some good news for someone you’re happy for. It’s a conversation with friends. So jump in. And remember to cheer for each other.

How do you join in?

Below this post is the comment section. Add your good news there.

Reading this in your email? Hit reply.

Some weeks you’ll find even more comments on our Facebook Page.

Steve Dee shared this awesome news via Facebook, from the Choteau Area Port Authority:
    “Exciting news!
We just got word from our contact at the Montana Department of Transportation, with help from the Montana Governor’s Office of Economic Development, that soon the exits at Wolf Creek and Vaughn will have signs pointing toward Choteau as the scenic route from Park to Park!

Our next immediate task with the MDT and the City of Choteau is to get signs in town at the north and south entrances to town to direct visitors around the County Court House and down Main Avenue/through the business district. Especially to keep visitors off of 7th Ave NW and away from the school.

We’ll keep you posted as we make progress! #TheFutureisRural — in City of Choteau.”

Lila Burgess shared her great news via email:
‘We held our first “Business Mingle”! And it was a success, at least by small town standards ;) We invited any and all past, present, and future business owners, as well as anyone with an interest in our business community to come and share ideas, concerns and experiences at an informal gathering at our local craft beer tasting room. No speaker, just a opportunity to network and get to know each other. We had about 20+ people show up and it went really well. We’re considering doing it once a month!’

Howdy!
