Hi, I saw your tweet and came on over. My first book is published, and I wrote it with 5 co-authors. 3 of us live on ranches and farms and 3 in small/medium size cities, and I see you love small towns.
Our book is “Scrapbook of Christmas Firsts: Stories to Warm Your Heart and Tips to Simplify Your Holiday.” Full of no cost and low cost tips on creating family traditions about giving, putting Jesus at the center. Cookie recipes too!
Terra
Terra, thanks for coming over! Congratulations on the wonderful book!
On the potential of doublng or tripling my staff. Spending alot of time calculating the true cost of an employee, profit per person, Local OKC HR companies, etc. This is much more exciting than keep my head burried in C# code all day.
Congrats, Patrick! That is such a terrific thing to be working on!
After getting some kudos last weekend on interactions with Robert Scoble and Tim O’Reilly, I wrote a blog post that was more of a manifesto.
The next day, feeling like Jerry Maguire after his ill-timed publishing effort, I hesitantly walked into the office. It turns out, this was just the thing many employees were waiting for. My day was capped off by the Chief Marketing Officer sending along an email, noting that he received so many positive emails about my post and that he thought I was doing a great job.
Topping that next week will be tough, but I’ll give it a shot. :)

Scott, it was an awesome post! You got terrific attention all over Twitter and other blogs for it. I’m glad to hear that you got a positive reception at work, too. You’ve showed that one person can make a big impact. Congratulations!

i have a ‘published’ ebook (that people actually downloaded. I have a job that after almost a year is still a delight. And I (looking at the past year, if that’s what you want for thankful) know that a number of people that I knew online actually have faces and voices in real life.
Jon, what terrific things to be thankful for.
I’ve FINALLY got my “Who’s Telling YOUR Story?” webinar up. http://fundraisingcoach.com/storytelling
I’ve been wanting to get these story telling techniques for nonprofits available for a l-o-n-g time. It’s a relief to have it done!
Thanks, Becky!
Congratulations, Marc! It feels so good to finish those long-term projects!
I’d like to brag on my niece Cassidie and her husband. They completely remodeled their home which must have been a lot of work. They hosted our Thanksgiving lunch this year, and it was a wonderful day.
Congrats to Cassidie! She must be thrilled with getting to be host in her newly-remodeled home!
