Tourism businesses have an array of new tools. Today, I’m talking about those tools at the annual tourism conference of the Red Carpet Country tourism association.
When another speaker canceled at the last minute, Jeanne “OkieJ” Cole asked me to fill in. I put together these ideas to share.

I am so glad the other speaker canceled. I, for one, plan to dig-in to the tips and tools you suggested!
Thank you, Monica! I’m so glad you were there, and found some value in it.
I’ve been praising your many virtues today. Let’s see… my husband, the guy at the radio station, Woods County Economic Development, OK Dept of Commerce, the ag guy at Northwest Technology Center…
Let’s face it – free and effective marketing is something to talk about.
Monica, I can’t thank you enough for such kind words. Thank you.
Hi Becky – thank you for the link!! :) There are so many (too many?) resources out there for small biz folks involved in tourism. The power of marketing our small properties/ventures really is in our hands…with Flickr, YouTube, etc all you need is some time and a willingness to be consistent.
Thanks, Mark. You set a great example with your Culebra blog.
