Brag Basket – Tell us about it!

By Small Biz Survival

It’s the one and only online Brag Basket! This is your chance to share any of your business successes, or even spectacular failures!

Tell us something that went well, or something you are proud of. We will all applaud, and share in your bragging rights. And, while you are bragging, jump over the Heidi Miller’s Diary of a Shameless Self-Promoter for a discussion on bragging this week!

So, the comments are open. Jump right in!

And, by the way, if you are a graphics person, I would love to have a wonderful graphic to use for the Brag Basket! Any ideas?

With much help from Chris Brogan and an amazing cast of business experts, I launched a new podcast, The Great Big Small Business Show, with an awesome premire episode! (Hey, if Mom likes it, it must be good!)

And this is the time of year at the liquor store when the college students return. This week, we’ve been listening to all the requests for new products, and making some adjustments to our product line. May not seem like much to brag about (except OkieK and Maesz, who know all about it!), but it does feel good when you can meet your customers’ needs and requests!

And, not that I need to brag about Chris some more, but he bragged about our “Best of” post on Life Hack, that drove us to the del.icio.us Popular page, and that has driven us over 270 new visitors by 4 pm today!

Well Becky says this is a brag item, so here goes. Our local Business & Professional Women’s organization holds a banquet each October in conjunction with National Business Women’s Week. This year I was able to get a confirmation from the FIRST ever female President of Northwestern Oklahoma State University to be our speaker for the banquet! Dr Janet Cunningham will be an outstanding addition to our annual event, already in its 4th year. And it was so easy! All I had to do was ask!

You bet, that’s a brag! Quite a feather in your cap, and Waynoka BPW!

Better take a bow yourself! I am clicking on the blogs besides mine that were named SOB this week – LOL!

    Congratulations!

Marti, congratulations to you! Everyone loves it when Liz calls them an SOB!
