Sonora, the only incorporated city in our county, has been chosen as the host city for Stage 4 of the Amgen Tour of California. If (like me) you don't follow international cycling, you probably don't know that this is one of the most prestigious bicycle races in the country, with many of the teams also taking part in the Tour de France. It's a huge effort on the part of the community, that will bring tens of thousands of spectators to our little burg. My niche is managing the Google+ Page. There is also a Facebook Page and an offcial website.

Hi Becky, long time no chat.

This was a great week, a new project I am involved with that is bringing the Daily Deals business model to the nationwide Christian market, www.greatchristiandeals.com signed up our first two major affiliate marketing partners.

One is a major global religious denomination and the other is a rapidly growing online and offline media star based in California. Both agreements served to reinforce our business model and belief set.

I have a write-on board a work where I list the important things to accomplish each day, usually not more than six. I love being able to erase them before I leave each day, and the *volunteers* get to see what they accomplished. It's become a great way to build self-confidence in those who don't feel that they have much to offer. And it helps me stay on task in an often chaotic atmosphere.

Hard to believe that augmented reality is already here. Years ago you would see it in scifi movies. Now, you whip out your smartphone and login to FourSquare or Twitter.

It's amazing how many businesses with physical locations pay so little attention to their online presence.

They wonder why the yellow pages aren't as effective as they used to be in the "good old" days. Meanwhile people are tossing out their phone books!

They came together in Great Falls, Montana, January 15, for a free workshop focused on booth design and product pricing. Cindy Kittredge, folk arts and market development specialist at the Montana Arts Council, presented the workshop. MAC is a contributing partner with the City of Great Falls in March's two-day trade show of Made in Montana producers.
