@Becky, thanks! Funny we've been in contact since the Chris Brogan Grasshoppers days, I've seen your weekly tweets and never thought I had anything appropriate to put here. Then when I did I got to thinking my post looked like spam. The conference is not a business at all, it's for small business people and as I think you saw immediately, the Skype thing is a big deal, even though few people understand it now.

The important thing is to see that VoIP is not just about saving money, it's about value added. We've been able to hear from CEOs of major players in the VoIP field and the things these companies offer now, especially if your small business has worldwide potential, are amazing.

Thanks for the opportunity to "jubiliate" here about our success and I hope folks won't hesitate to contact us (via the contact form on http://vuc.me) if they need free assistance understanding this "VoIP thing".

We were able to connect several Skype callers with a traditional small business pbx today on our weekly VoIP Users Conference today. The point of the experiment is that any Skype user will be able to call your Skype ID and be connected to your regular phone. NO more computer running to wait for calls. All the power of your pbx to answer, forward or route your calls.

Hi Becky, this may be a little geeky, but we do a weekly call on VoIP and today we tried an experimental system that will eventually allow Skype and your small company's pbx to be connected. The ramifications of this are simple: you can seamlessly get Skype calls on your phone. There are hundreds of millions of Skype users and having access to these are a big deal.

We had people connected between Israel, Bermuda, France, the UK, and the USA, all speaking in a conference. If you are interested in the technology, see http://vuc.me for two recordings.
