I think that the article had many great comments, my favorite being set measurable goals for the year. We all want our businesses to do well, however it is important to create goals that match the needs of our company at the time, as well as the economic situation. Also, in regards to improving your record keeping system, Quickbooks is always a useful tool, however I know a few businesses who would rather outsource those tasks. I recently came across a company which handles small to medium size companies and their payroll services. If anyone is interested, they are called Priority Pay Payroll (http://www.prioritypaypayroll.org/). But anyway, great article, definitely useful!
