Each
Friday, I open the brag basket as a fun place to give someone a pat on
the back, brag, or promote yourself and your projects.
Last week, Doug at Mitchgroup bragged on a client, Marco announced Factoring Articles, Paul proudly finished a page at TheSeedCompany.org, Sandra of Guiding Vision complimented my presentation, I bragged on Mom, and Todd of The Broad Brush and Vicky of Remarkable Parents stopped by to cheer.

We picked up another new small city government client this week, with one immediate project, and several in the wings! Hurray for small towns!
Rotarian Magazine is going to feature me and my book "Ask Without Fear!" in the January issue!!!

Two goodies....
1) Fellow Austinite Aruni Gunasegaram learned that her panel Building a Web Business After Hours was accepted for South by Southwest Interactive in March 2009.
2) I learned that "Condé Nast Traveler" magazine will fly me to New York to live-tweet their Readers' Choice Awards on Twitter. That's a publication that is starting to really understand the Web!
Sheila, I saw that Aruni was one of the first selected! Congrats, Aruni!!
And hey, congrats to you, too! Yet another business success from Twitter. Enjoy the trip!
Had a successful summer planning to start my non-profit performance arts group. Had 2 open houses with strong attendance. Holding Auditions next weekend. I have a very committed all-volunteer staff who is excited about seeing this all get off the ground too!
We even got some national attention when one of our open houses was written about on a major performance-arts website!

Bragging on myself and my St. Charles County Twitter buds.
We had our first local Tweetup. It went quite well, and we even managed to have some nonlocals show up.
Where we had it was about 40 miles from downtown St. Louis. Not only did two fellow Twitters from down that way make it out, but one of the gave our celebrity guest, Chris Brogan, a ride from down that way.
There was laughter, smiles, good food, good beer, and great company.
It wasn't totally my idea, so be sure to recognize @JavaStl as well.
